In our Bogenhausen gallery space, we present selected works by the classic painter Raimund Girke (1930–2002). In his compelling and significant life’s work, Girke used painterly processes to focus on analytical research into the material quality and emotional expressiveness of the color white in all its infinite possibilities.

Parallel to the group exhibition CONNECT at the Walter Storms Galerie in Munich, RECONNECT in the new Berlin space is showing a selection of thematic works by artists from the gallery program, supplemented by current positions. Both exhibitions form an echo in terms of content. Two venues, two directions, an ongoing dialog.
