His life belonged to architecture and photography. Klaus Kinold, probably the most important German architectural photographer has died. The author Hans-Michael Koetzle tells in the May-June 2021 issue of the magazine „Photo International“ why Klaus Kinold, the architect who takes photographs or the photographer who sees with the eyes of an architect was and still is a stroke of luck for his profession – and for photography in Germany in general.
