gerhard merz die braut/ the bride 22.03.2012 - 26.05.2012

Until May 25th Gerhard Merz’s installation “The Bride” will be on display at our gallery. It consists of seven monochrome paintings, several objects out of glass, steel or wood, as well as a retrospective bookwork. The show is Gerhard Merz’s comment on Marcel Duchamp’s time in Munich which is also the content of the exhibition „Marcel Duchamp in München 1912“ at the Kunstbau der Städtischen Galerie im Lenbachhaus Munich, March 31st through July 15th.
