The group exhibition CONNECT presents works by Beverly Fishman, Christopher Chiappa, Gary Petersen, Gregor Hildebrandt, Gerold Miller, Márton Nemes, Lukas Troberg, Peter Krauskopf, Shannon Finley, Turi Simeti, Ulrich Erben, Viola Bittl, Schirin Kretschmann and Anselm Reyle, which together illuminate the principle of interconnectedness – the relationship between space, time, artworks, and the viewer.
CONNECT marks the point of origin: not only etymologically is connect the root of reconnect, but also geographically. Founded in Munich in 1977, the gallery now enters a new phase of reconnection with the opening of its Berlin space in 2025.
Between Munich and Berlin, between artists and artworks, a multilayered dialogue unfolds – one that explores the resonances and tensions between form, color, and material. Visitors are invited to trace the connections between individual positions and architectural spaces and to follow the lines that link them.
Together with the simultaneous exhibition RECONNECT in Berlin, a network emerges that extends beyond geographical boundaries and reveals art as a dynamic system of mutual reference and inspiration.
