Ulrich Erben has created an extensive body of work since the end of the 1960s and is considered one of the most important German painter personalities.
His major theme is the creation of an artistic landscape of color in non-representational, but concrete legibility. Erben’s most recent works were presented in 2019 in the Josef Albers Museum Quadrat Bottrop together with an impressive catalog.
