For the first time in Munich, I will be showing an extensive, retrospective overview of Alan Charlton’s work. After he finished his studies at the Royal Academy Schools in London and subsequently started his international career at the beginning of the ’70s, Charlton consistently and solely painted GREY, creating a distinctive oeuvre with different shades and various pictorial forms.
For the exhibition, I will publish two large-size silkscreen prints by Alan Charlton with a limited edition of only 25 pieces, which will be printed by Ekkeland Götze.
