We are pleased to present approximately 50 serigraphs by Günter Fruhtrunk from the artist’s estate. The selection, drawn from Fruhtrunk’s extensive oeuvre of prints, will be continuously updated and supplemented in a Petersburg hanging over the coming weeks.

Peter Krauskopf has been a key player in our gallery since his first solo exhibition in Munich in 2005. Over the past year and a half, Krauskopf has been working in his studio in Berlin-Reinickendorf on a new group of paintings, which are being shown here today for the first time. In the gallery’s two main rooms, a dense ensemble of ten large-format paintings with variations on the motif of a vertical block on an upwardly tapering pedestal. The blunt blocks at the top grow by means of multi-layered, powerful streams of color, blurring and overpainting on a contrasting monochrome background. One senses glowing lava, salty sea, autumnal vegetation, frosty ice, thinks of Mont Sainte-Victoire…
