Using cameras he has built himself, he creates analytical interior views of the medium of photography. In this way, he arrives at never-before-seen visual worlds that transcend the human concept of time and space.<\/p>\n

Using extremely long exposures of up to two years, Michael Wesely has already documented numerous important construction projects, such as the development of Potsdamer Platz in Berlin on behalf of Daimler-Chrysler, the construction of the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, and the construction of the Humboldt Forum, also in Berlin.<\/p>\n

He has had solo exhibitions at the Museum voor Fotografie Antwerpen, Landesmuseum Joanneum Graz, Goethe-Institut Rotterdam, Forum Kunst Rottweil, Stadthaus Ulm, Kunsthalle Kiel, Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin, and the Museum of Modern Art New York, among others.<\/p>\n
